C Channel steel is automatically processed and formed by C-section steel forming machine. C-section steel forming machine can automatically complete the forming process of C-section steel according to the given C Channel size of structural C Channel dimensions.
Type of C Channel steel:
C Channel steel is divided into galvanized C-section steel, hot-dip galvanized cable tray C-section steel, glass clamping groove C-section steel, glass curtain wall C-section steel, wiring groove C-section steel, reinforced C-section steel, double holding C-section steel, unilateral C-section steel, manual forklift C-section steel, unequal edge C-section steel, straight edge C-section steel and inclined edge C-section steel.
Inner crimping C Channel steel, inner beveled C Channel steel, roof (wall) purlin C-section steel, automobile profile C-section steel, expressway column C-section steel, solar support C-section steel (21-80 Series), formwork support C-section steel, precision C-section steel for equipment, etc.
Precautions for C Channel steel:
C Channel steel is widely used in purlins and wall beams of steel structure buildings, and can also be combined into lightweight roof truss, bracket and other building components. In addition, it can also be used for columns, beams and arms in mechanical and light industry manufacturing.
The planning of C-section steel is sensitive. Even when the beam height is the same, the bay of steel structure can be 50% larger than that of concrete structure, which makes the subsequent construction and placement more sensitive. Compared with concrete structure, the self weight of C-section steel structure is relatively light. The decrease of structural self weight can reduce the internal force of structural planning, reduce the demand for structural foundation treatment, simplify the construction and reduce the cost.
C Channel steel is one kind of profile steel. Profile refers to the solid straight bar with certain section shape and size formed by plastic processing of metal. Profile is an object with certain geometry made of iron or steel and materials with certain strength and toughness through rolling, extrusion, casting and other processes. Profiles include hot-rolled profiles, cold-formed profiles, cold-rolled profiles, cold-drawn profiles, extruded profiles, forged profiles, hot-formed profiles, welded profiles and special rolled profiles. 1. Profile extrusion is the process of producing profiles by extrusion. Hollow profiles are extruded by piercing needle and welding; The solid profile adopts forward extrusion method, reverse extrusion method and combined extrusion method.
"The specifications of C Channel steel C-section steel are: 160, 140, 120, 100 and 80. 1. The application scope will vary with different specifications. Please make a reasonable choice according to the design requirements of the building. 2. When purchasing C-section steel, its surface should be carefully inspected. 3. C-section steel is widely used in purlins, wall beams, etc. of steel structure houses, and can also be assembled into light roof trusses, supports, etc.
C Channel steel is mainly engaged in cold-formed C-section steel, which is formed by rolling hot-rolled strip or coil in a cold state. Cold-formed C-section steel is an economic section light-weight thin-walled steel, which is called steel refrigeration bending high-efficiency and energy-saving profile. Cold formed C-section steel is the main material for making light steel structure. It has various extremely thin, reasonable and complex sections that cannot be produced by hot rolling. Compared with hot-rolled section steel, under the same section area, the radius of gyration can be increased by 50 ~ 60%, and the section moment of inertia can be increased by 0.5 ~ 3.0 times, so the material strength can be used reasonably; Compared with ordinary steel structure (i.e. steel structure made of traditional I-beam, channel steel, angle steel and steel plate), steel can be saved by about 30 ~ 50%. In some cases, the steel consumption of cold-formed C-shaped steel structure is equivalent to that of reinforced concrete structure under the same conditions. It is an economic section steel.

Cold formed C Channel steel is a new type of steel with strong vitality. The main characteristics of C-section steel support are: high pressure, long support time, easy installation and not easy deformation It is widely used in various fields of the national economy. Its uses can be divided into 10 categories: highway guardrail board, steel structure, automobile, container, steel formwork and scaffold, railway vehicle, ship and bridge, steel sheet pile, power transmission tower, etc…
C-section thus has three flat surfaces for mounting to. It’s still strong, although this geometry does give up a little of the rigidity of the I-beam. Against that, though, it avoids the use of brackets or angle. That saves money, time and weight, perhaps making it worth moving up to a slightly heavier section.
Other Advantages
Structural aluminum is lightweight and easy to work with, plus, unlike wood, it won’t burn. That makes it a good alternative to lumber for framing walls or installing ceiling joints and rafters. Also, being an open section unlike tube material, it’s easily washed clean and drains quickly and easily rather than retaining moisture.
Applications
Most trailers are fabricated with aluminum C-section channel for the structural members. It’s lightweight, easy to cut and drill and doesn’t corrode. Plus, three flat faces simplify the addition of panels or other structural components. It’s particularly popular in boat trailers where the ease with which it’s washed down and absence of moisture-retaining areas help ensure a long life. Window and door frames are often fabricated from C-section channel for similar reasons.
Also, as mentioned above, aluminum C-section channel is often used in construction. It’s a particularly good choice where fire is a greater than normal concern.
See? It Doesn’t Have to Be I-Beam
Say, “structural aluminum” or “structural steel” and we’ll wager most people picture the traditional I-beam. It’s a shape that’s met the needs of fabricators as well as those in construction for generations, but sometimes it makes assembly more complicated than perhaps it need be. That’s why we suggest you consider C-section channel, (or C-beam, whatever works for you). With an additional flat face, C-section material might simplify your design and save you time and money.
Channels are standardized channel section. The hot rolled execution has conical flanges, while the laser fused has parallel ones. Both their tolerances are defined by ASTM A 484, the laser fused execution has additionally the product standard defined by ASTM A1069.
C-Channels in stainless steel are used in commerce and industry but also in machinery and equipment building. The use of stainless steel profiles is characterized by a high flexibility of composition and a fast and cost reduced construction (through the possibility of prefabrication in the steel production). Stainless steel profiles are produced mainly from scrap and can be recycled again after utilization so new resources can be conserved.
