A solar panel mounting system may include a solar panel mounting assembly for mounting to a support structure. The solar panel mounting assembly may include a restraining element, a retaining element and a biasing assembly that supports the restraining and retaining elements. The support structure may include an upper surface and a lower surface spaced from the upper surface. The biasing assembly may further include a biasing element that resiliently urges the retaining element toward a securing element for supporting a solar panel that is positioned between the retaining element and the upper surface of the support structure, and resiliently urges the restraining element toward the lower surface of the support structure. A retention device may resiliently bias the solar panels of a solar panel assembly together on a support structure.


H Beams is a new type of economic construction. H Beams has economical and reasonable cross-sectional shape and good mechanical properties. During rolling, each point on the cross-section extends more uniformly and the internal stress is small. Compared with ordinary I Beams, it has the advantages of large section modulus, light weight, and metal saving, which can make buildings The structure is reduced by 30-40%; because the legs are parallel inside and outside, and the ends of the legs are right-angled, they can be assembled into components, which can save welding and riveting work by up to 25%. It is often used in large buildings (such as factory buildings, high-rise buildings, etc.) that require large intercepting capacity and good cross-sectional stability, as well as bridges, ships, lifting and transporting machinery, equipment foundations, supports, foundation piles, etc.


H Beams is a kind of economical cross-section steel with better mechanical properties of cross-section optimized and developed from I-shaped steel. Especially the cross-section is the same as the English letter "H" and named after it. Its characteristics are as follows:


◆Wide flange and large lateral rigidity.

◆Strong bending resistance, about 5%-10% than I-beam.

◆The two surfaces of the flange are parallel to each other, which makes the connection, processing and installation easy.

◆ Compared with welded I-beam, it has low cost, high precision, low residual stress, no need for expensive welding materials and weld inspection, and saves about 30% of the cost of steel structure production.

◆Under the same section load. The weight of hot rolled H steel structure is 15%-20% lighter than traditional steel structure.

◆Compared with the concrete structure, the hot-rolled H steel structure can increase the usable area by 6%, and the weight of the structure can be reduced by 20%-30%, reducing the internal force of the structure design.

◆H Beams can be processed into T-shaped steel, and honeycomb beams can be combined to form various cross-sectional forms, which greatly meets the needs of engineering design and production.


Classification, representation method and material of H Beams

H-beams are divided into hot-rolled H Beams and welded H Beams (H). Hot-rolled H-beams are divided into wide-flange H Beams (HW), middle-flange H Beams (HM) and narrow-flange H Beams (HN). Three kinds.


HW is the height of the H Beams and the width of the flange are basically equal; it is mainly used for the steel core column in the reinforced concrete frame structure column, also known as the rigid steel column; in the steel structure, it is mainly used for the column


HM is the ratio of the height of the H Beams to the width of the flange is roughly 1.33~~1.75. Mainly in steel structures: used as steel frame columns and used as frame beams in frame structures that bear dynamic loads; for example: equipment platforms


HN is the ratio of H Beam height to flange width greater than or equal to 2, mainly used for beams; I-beam is equivalent to HN Beam.

Galvanized H beams can be cut, machined or welded by common methods used for regular steel, but adequate ventilation should be used to avoid inhalation of fumes when heated. Saw cut ends of our pre-cut lengths are not galvanized and should be treated with a cold galvanizing compound to maintain protection once your project is complete. Any holes drilled or welded areas should also be treated.  


A solar panel module for directly mounting to a roof surface comprises a plurality of solar panels and a low profile, elongated frame including a generally flat, rectangular base having a plurality of substantially planar surfaces for supporting the under surfaces of the solar panels. The panels are removably sealed to the frames at the under surfaces thereof, rendering the upper surfaces fully free and unencumbered for receipt of incident solar radiation. The frame includes, integrally therewith, upstanding walls adjacent opposite edges of the panel supporting surfaces, defining raceway channels for concealed passage of electrical wires connected to the solar panels. The channels and walls have provision for overlapping interlocking with similarly fabricated frames for ease of installation, weather-proofing and high-density panel mounting.
