TwinPeak 2S 72 Modules Are More Shade Tolerant
Solar panels with TwinPeak 2S technologies have a unique “twin” design, which enables them to generate electricity even when they are partially shaded. Over time, you get a higher yield from your installation.
If any part of a standard 72-cell module is shaded, it will lose at least one string, i.e., 1/3, of its power production and even stop generating electricity fully if shaded across the module width as illustrated to the right.

Based on 120 laser cut polysilicon cells, TwinPeak 2 Series includes four different technologies which together, result in an extra power output of over 12 Watts per module.

Laser cut polycrystalline cells reduce internal resistance for higher power output, higher efficiency and increased reliability.
· Passivated Emitter Rear Cell (PERC): +4 watts
New generation of cell technology captures more wavelengths of light through mirror-like architecture for higher efficiency.
· 4 Bus Bar: +2 watts
A shorter distance for electrons to travel vastly improves the current flow, reducing resistance in the cell and increasing efficiency.
· Split Junction Box: +1 watt
The three three cell technologies combine in the innovative junction boxes for a higher energy yield, while reducing heat and increasing reliability.
